When planning a milestone event and gathering a unrelated people who have been out of contact or are strangers, it’s hard to know where to begin.Today’s mobile society and stricter privacy laws often make it more challenging to locate contemporaries than it is to find Colonial ancestors.Mary will share her journey to gather classmates for the Golden Reunion of her college class, advise us of the traditional genealogy skills that are invaluable, and introduce some new strategies for contemporary research.

Mary E. Celeste is the current Public Relations Chair and immediate past President of the Northland Genealogy Society, and a long-time family researcher.She is active in a number of genealogical, historical and lineage organizations and is a retired librarian.
