Research and Writing the Stories of WWII Fallen
Presented by Don Milne

More than 400,000 Americans lost their lives in World War II. All of them had stories worth saving and sharing. The STAR Corps (Story-Telling And Research volunteers) is researching and writing their stories, which will be digitally linked to all war memorial and cemeteries by a smartphone app so visitors can read the stories of the fallen.

Don Milne resides in Louisville, Kentucky and is a financial planner who was inspired to start this project in 2016. He is the founder and National Director of the non-profit, Stories Behind The Stars. Their goal is to complete stories for all 7,700 buried at Arlington National Cemetery by Memorial Day 2022, and stories for every WWI Fallen by the end of 2025.
