Valor Awards for WWI VeteransPresented by Dr. Timothy Westcott
A Valor Medals Review Project and Task Force made up of researchers and historians is performing a systematic investigation of World War I American soldiers, who may have been overlooked for high-valor awards at the time based on race or religion. Dr. Westcott will discuss the project, collecting digitizing Great War artifacts, and facilitating educational programming in partnership with Park University. Dr. Timothy Wescott is an Associate Professor of History at Park University and Chair of the Department of History, Political Science and Inter-disciplinary Studies. He is Director for the George S. Robb Centre for the Study of the Great War.
